Well hey there, Sugar. I rushed over as fast as I could. I had to finish up chores on the ranch.

It took me a minute to catch the chickens and get them back into the coop, but I'm here. I brought some of that apple pie you like. To be honest, on the phone you sounded real upset about something, and I got a little bit worried.

I didn't want to ask until I got here, but I figure ain't nothing a little warm, sweet pie can't fix, right? Now, might as well sit down and you tell me what happened that way, okay? Oh, they, well they broke up with you? What do you mean? I don't, I don't understand.

I thought everything was fine. I mean, honestly, I just can't see no sense in it. It's not over something like that anyways.

You've been so sweet and kind to them. I just, well, I honestly just hate to hear it. You don't deserve such things, Sugar.

I know it hurts, but, I mean, it's only temporary, right? Yeah, I suppose you feel it now, but it'll heal up soon enough, and you'll feel better. I'll tell you the truth, I just, well, frankly, I don't think they know what they're missing, you know?

What do you mean, what do I mean? I mean, you're a catch, darling. The whole package.

You're easy on the eyes, and you're real sweet to talk to. You're big, and you certainly look like you could show a lady a good time. I mean, anybody that'd leave you in the dust is a damn fool.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't sitting on this for a little while. I just, well, I don't really know how to tell you. I guess now probably ain't the best time, but I just think you ought to know that somebody out there cares about you, even if you're hurting a little bit right now, Junebug.

So, well, I'm here, and I figure I might as well say it now. Well, I sure am glad I can help a little bit, sugar. Here, come here.
