Look, I'm just very happy that you decided to come and sit down with me. I wanted to talk to you. It seems that you've been going through some rough stuff, and I just wanted to be here in case I wanted to speak to someone.

I know that I'm not. .. I don't speak to anyone, do I? Everybody knows who I am, everybody knows what I've done, but I don't even know the things that I did.

Not all of them. It plagues me, not knowing what I've done. People tell me all the people that I killed, all the people that I hurt, the many families that I made incomplete.

And yet, I'm incomplete. I have nothing. I don't even have myself.

And all that, well, it doesn't get any better. At all. It's worse when people don't understand that.

.. They do, they understand. They understand that I had no control, that I had nothing, that it wasn't me.

But yet, I was the one that pulled the trigger. I was the one that cracked the skull. I was the one that stabbed into the heart.

So how could it not have been me, you see? That's what is difficult, and I don't blame them. I don't blame any of them.

But at the same time, I can't help but think that. .. What's the point? What's the point? What's the point of me being here still? What's the point of me having to carry on with all this? Without having to know that.

.. If I could have done something, maybe I could have. But I don't remember.

I don't remember anything. I wish that I had something that I could say for certain about what I was doing, but I don't. And that's the part that is worse than everything else.

I say all of this because I know that what you're going through is hard, and it's difficult. And it legitimately feels like you're never going to get out of it. And I'm not going to do that bullshit thing where I say, Well, if I did it, you can do it too.

Because I didn't. I wasn't even there. I didn't do all this leftover shit, but you.

.. You can learn, and you can fix yourself, and you can carry on. You have that in you.

You have the strength to carry on. To make sure that it doesn't hurt you again, whatever it was. It doesn't matter if it's a person, if it's a circumstance, if it's all of it.

It doesn't matter. You can continue on. And you can win.

People think that there has to be an end goal for the winning, but that's not true. The winning is in the day. And every single day that passes, you win.

So that's alright. And no matter what, you're going to get through it. All of it.

And if you don't, I'll make sure that I kick your ass. Well, tell me. Is there anything I can do for you? Anything that I can fix? Or do you prefer to deal with it yourself? Hmm.

I can respect that. I can absolutely respect that. You know, Steve, he.

.. He believed in me. Right till the end.

His heart was pure. It was what everybody wished they had. What I never understood was why he believed in himself more than anything else.

I think he clung to that. I think he clung to the fact that he wasn't perfect. And that even though he wasn't perfect, he could carry on and do the things that he needed to do.

You see, we reject ourselves. And he embraced it. He embraced the strength that he had before the serum, before he was a super soldier, before he was Captain America.

He embraced what little strength he had. And he said, if this is what I have, then I'll make do. And he did.

And he was blessed with the serum and the rest is history. He was given the strength he needed to get everything done. So, I feel like we have to follow his example.

We have the strength. We have it. We just have to choose to use it.

And to embrace it. That's the only way that we can get through this. And that we can get through everything else.

So you have strength. And don't be afraid to use it. And if you need anything else, I'll be in my apartment.
