All right, see those three I'm pointing at? Those three, they're like right above us. One, two, three, right in a row.

The brightest one's right there, right above us, okay? Those three, that's Orion's belt. Right there, no, it's upside down from the way that we're looking at it, so his shoulders are going to be, it's like he's standing on his head.

All right, so those two down below, out a little bit wider, those are his shoulders. And then the other two up above here are his feet, because I know what the constellation looks like. It does matter, because there's more to the constellation.

You still don't see him, do you? All right, well, let's scoot over here a little bit closer and just look exactly right where I'm pointing, okay? Let's get a little closer and you can see right, okay, look right where I'm pointing.

You see that? You see it. How can you see it when you're staring at me? Look where I'm pointing.

All right, all right, let's try this again, okay. Right there, the three bright ones, right in a row, straight above us, okay, 1, 2, 3. You see him? Well, do you really see him? Because you don't sound so sure.

Okay, okay, okay, okay, I believe you, I believe you, you see him, all right? That's Orion's belt. Well, yeah, but I've been a nerd for as long as you've known me, and you're my friend anyway.

Okay, well, fine, but what's it say about you? I mean, either that you like nerds or that you're one yourself. I mean, you are out here with me looking at constellations.

No, no, no, no, no, no. The fact that you can't make him out does not make you less of a nerd. What makes you want to be a nerd? It makes you a junior nerd.

Stop it. All right, all right, but you totally are still a nerd, even if you can't see Orion. Well, you're out here with me, aren't you? Well, no, because as you said, I am a massive nerd, right? That means I've got nerd aura around me.

It is a thing. You know what? I'm a nerd, so I would know.

You, this is like senior level nerd stuff, not junior level. You got to graduate up to here. But it does mean that my nerd aura is seeping into you.

You're getting nerdier by the second. You are. You're getting more nerdified every single second that you're with me.

Yeah, but you sat here and listened to me say all that, so. Okay, okay, okay, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine. No, we don't have to look for Orion anymore.

It's fine. It's fine. It's like the easiest constellation in the night sky to find, but.

Well, yeah, there's a couple in the sky right now. Huh? I'm sorry, I didn't know you were cold.

Yeah, I've got a couple blankets up in the cabin. Huh? No, no, no, I don't mind at all.

Yeah, sure, just scoot on over closer. I mean. No, no, if it's, I mean, if you're okay with it, I don't mind at all.

Yeah, I don't mind being this close to you. All right, you comfy? Well, okay, so Mars is kind of, has basically set at this point.

And Venus isn't going to be up until, like, almost dawn. But Saturn and Jupiter are up there right now. Yeah.

All right. Can you see my hand? See where I'm pointing? And look straight over there and you should see, you see the two that are the brightest ones right there, brightest ones.

Mm-hmm. Yeah, they're, no, those aren't stars. That's, that's the planet.

So that way's east, right? So the one that's further that way is Saturn. And then Jupiter's out in front of it.

And tonight they're going to go up over from east to west. And yeah. Pretty cool, huh? Here, take the binoculars.

Uh-huh. And go ahead and take a look. Yeah, I know, it's hard to see much.

Wish I brought my telescope along. Well, I mean, it's nothing fancy, it's just a light telescope. But it, I mean, it does a good enough job that using it just out in my driveway, I've been able to see cloud bands on Jupiter.

And I've been able to see the rings of Saturn. I mean, like, nothing like the photos that, that NASA puts out there. But, I mean, it's still pretty cool for just sitting in your driveway.

Right? And right there you became geekier, nerdier. Well, I mean, is there a difference? Nerd, geek? Okay, what's the difference? You go right ahead, explain it to me.

You know it when you see it. Okay. I mean, I long ago got used to the fact that I'm a nerd, a geek, and a dork.

So to me, they're all kind of just three sides of the same three headed coin, I guess. Yeah, I know. I know.

I know. I know. Nerd level increased.

Yes. Nerdiness intensified. I get it.

But that means the nerd aura is even stronger. So there's really no hope for you at this point. All right.

What you doing? No, I don't mind you scooting over and snuggling up on me at all. Can I be honest with you about something? Real quick, I.

I'm at a loss for words. I'm not sure what to say. Well.
