Stop trying to guess, you're not going to get it. Because even if you guess right, I'm going to tell you you're wrong. Because you're trying to ruin my surprise.

You have the patience of a toddler, seriously. Just we're almost there, okay? Cool your jets.

Yes, I'm excited. Look, when we get there, you're not going to be disappointed, okay? You're going to love what I've got.

I worked hard on this. Just let me have my moment, okay? Seriously.

Okay, that's right around the corner here. And, here we are. Well, yes that tent's for us.

Oh my gosh. Do you see anyone else here? Baby, this is a surprise, okay? Private beach, private beach in Mexico, hmm? We got a tent, we got the sea, and why don't you look inside? Exactly, food, drinks, chairs, towels, we get everything we need to just sit here and enjoy peace, solitude, just a gorgeous, gorgeous day here.

I love you too. Well, yeah, you know, I kind of, so, I guess the honeymoon in a way is a great big date, but this is kind of a date within a date, right? And I wanted our first date as a married couple to be really memorable.

Mmm, we're just getting started actually. Oh! Hello! Mmm, I love you baby.

Mmm. No, I just wasn't expecting you to jump into my arms like that. You didn't hurt me, it's fine.

You caught me by surprise. What, tell me baby. Yeah? What you excited about? Mmm, actually, you know what I'm excited about? Hang on.

Now, out with it, what are you excited about? Yeah? Married life, huh? Well, what about it? What are you excited for? Waking up with me and going to bed with me and.

.. Yeah? What else? Wow, you already got the house picked out? You've probably got all the decorations figured out already, haven't you? That's fine.

You know, I'm excited to house hunt with you. I'm excited to find our place. And I'm excited to decorate it with you and furnish it with you.

Well, you know I don't have quite the eye for those things that you do, but I do love spending time with you. And I do have some opinions, you know? I'll speak up if you're going for some truly hideous couch cushion covers or something like that.

Nothing you pick out would be hideous, baby. Unless it is. Yeah, I'm excited about this stuff too.

No, I really am. Well, as excited as I am for all that stuff, I want you to remember that our journey is just getting started. I mean, we've been together a while now, right? We spent time dating and then we spent time engaged.

And now we're husband and wife. And it's. ..

It's really, you know. .. It's the beginning of the journey, though.

You know, every. .. Every time we enter a new phase of our life, it's a new beginning.

And this is really the beginning of our grand adventure together. Sweetheart, we are just starting on this path. We have a long time ahead of us.

Plenty of time to really get to know each other even better. Develop our love, develop our friendship. And as excited as I am for all those things that you're talking about down the road, and all those future things, picking out a house, furnishing it, pets, kids, whatever, everything that we have in our future, I think it's great to plan for that stuff and be excited about it.

But what I really want to do right now is keep the focus on now. Keep it on here, keep it on now. You are in a tropical paradise with me here.

We're on a beautiful private beach. We get the wind and the waves and each other. I'm with the love of my life.

Totally in love with her, totally smitten. I mean, she loves me back. What? Shut up, you heard nothing.

So I just want to focus on now. Let's enjoy where we are. Let's enjoy every step of the journey.

And that's not to say not to look forward to things and plan for things, but let's not fixate so much on them that we lose track of enjoying the moment, enjoying where we are, enjoying our present location and circumstances.
