Hello my sweet. It's time to turn off all the distractions and the stress of your day and get comfortable with me my love. Lie back, get yourself comfortable and settled in and then take a deep breath in and as you exhale, if you wish, slowly close your eyes and inhale slowly once more, focusing on your breathing and your chest expanding and falling as you exhale, easy, feeling relaxed on each breath and feeling gratitude for this time you're taking for yourself.
I love that you're here with me and I ask nothing of you, nothing forced, just breathe. Allow yourself to be right here, right now. I want you to think of the last thing that made you smile, that made you feel happy.
It doesn't have to be big, it can be anything. Notice that feeling that washes over you. Allow yourself to smile at the memory if you wish.
Happiness is more than a feeling, it's a vibration that we carry, always. We never need a reason to feel happy. Happiness is unconditional but admittedly sometimes we forget that and we think we do need a reason and there's nothing wrong with that.
You're in control of your body and your emotions. Think about how you hold your happiness, how you really feel it, as in how you allow yourself to feel it. Does the feeling of the warmth of the sun for the first time after a freezing cold winter make you happy?
Does it make you smile? And if it does, do you allow yourself that moment to pause and to really recognize the joy that you're feeling? Really allowing yourself to feel it? I hope so because that is what you truly deserve, my love.
Collectively we get wrapped up in the idea that big things have to happen to us to really feel joy, to really justify it. But when we allow it, we find happiness everywhere. The frequency of happiness is in each and every one of us.
As a vibration and as little things that happen to and all around us. You just have to recognize it and allow yourself to notice it, open up to it and let it come to you. I want you to take another deep breath for me.
Slow inhale and a full release on the exhale. Focusing on the rise and fall of your chest once more as your body begins to relax further. The energy around you calming and beginning to still.
Any distraction or discomfort you feel, let it go. Release it and focus on your breath once more. And when those little thought bubbles try to float in, and they will, feel free to pop them.
Now is your time. Your time to really feel gratitude and surrendering to happiness. Allowing your body to settle further into the space you're in.
Slowly recognizing that you're in the present moment. The here and now. The past in the past and the future ahead of you.
Right now you are relaxed and calm. And perhaps happy. As your body relaxes deeper, I want you to repeat these words in your mind softly.
Presence. Presence. Presence.
And you will find that it is persistent everywhere. In the most subtle states and places. It is not a gift, it is your right to feel.
Even in a constantly disruptive world. And when you wake up fully, remember this feeling. This awareness.
