Are you sure you're okay? But, um, anyways, yeah. My job is to collect souls and you are on the list.

Though, can I be honest? It's a little weird that you feel this comfortable around me. I'm just so used to people either looking at me in fear or in anger, I just kinda learn to expect it and ignore it.

I don't blame any of them for reacting like that, but it's not my call to make. I'm just simply doing my job. Well, I've been a reaper ever since I can remember.

I got my first scythe and I got sent to reaper school to learn how to use our tools and powers. Though my old scythe is a lot smaller than this one, it was big to me when I was little. Then, after I graduated, I got sent out to work and I've been doing that ever since.

It's not easy being a reaper, you know. It takes a lot of training, and it's a big responsibility. I get that it's an important job, but there are other things I wish I could do.

Like what? Well, I like to rap. Sometimes I try other people's lyrics for fun, but one day I would like to write my own lyrics and tell my own story.

Maybe instead of capturing souls, I could capture hearts instead. It's just really scary, even for a reaper, to make that leap and take a chance on something without knowing how it'll turn out. Sorry, there's no reason for you to be listening to me.

Besides, who would want to listen to a reaper like me? And there you go again, saying that I'm beautiful. Why do I have trouble believing you? I mean, look at me.

A reaper isn't meant to be beautiful. You might think so, but what about other people? I don't think I could do it.
