Todays affirmations are about what we need to do to control our minds when we start becoming enveloped on negative or even hateful self talk. Anyone and everyone with anxiety, at any level, experiences this damaging kind of self talk. The thing we don't realise is we have far more control over it when we allow ourselves to and take the time to create change within us. It isn't easy work by any means, but it is truly effective. I know this because sometime ago I was diagnosed with Severe Anxiety Disorder. I had not heard of it nor ever thought myself as an anxious person. I sort of more thought that I was just really hard on myself but I had to be that way to succeed in life the way I wanted to. I could NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG. Now, sometime later, I have listened and learned so much on how to handle anxiety or worrisome thoughts and feelings. This is part of why I created SweetWhispers. To help others that may not know, the same way that I didn't know, that being hateful or negative towards ourselves is the worst damage we can do. Far worse than anything else going on in the world. It starts here, with us....and more importantly, with YOU. ❤️😘

Hello my love, lie back and get comfortable with me, settle in and take a deep breath and on the exhale close your eyes. This is your time, your time to heal from the damage caused by the outside world and to rebuild your strength, your focus and clarity and most importantly your love for yourself and for others. We so often feel that our minds are out of our control, that we have these feelings, these worries and fears that we feel all the time and can't quite seem to shut off.

We've forgotten that our mind is actually the one thing we do have control of. We can't control what others are doing or feeling, we can't control much of what's happening in our world and the reason for that is because we don't need to. All we need to do is take care of ourselves and in doing that we eliminate feelings of fear and self-doubt, of stress and guilt and shame.

We focus on who we are because that's where it all starts. Loving yourself is truly the greatest gift that you can give to those around you. There is no need to ever feel selfless or unworthy, you are worthy of all the good that comes to you each and every day and please don't ever forget that.

By choosing to take care of our minds we control our stress which in turn changes the way we handle things that may cause us anxiety or fear and in doing that we live happier, healthier, longer lives. We live easier and we attract more good to ourselves and those we come into contact with. It's a beautiful thing my love, taking care of yourself.

So now, let's take a few more deep breaths together. In through the nose and out through the mouth. One more time, in through the nose and release.

And now, repeat these words after me. Positive thoughts and positive feelings bring me all that I want in life. Negative thoughts and negative self-talk do not serve me.
