It's so very nice to meet you. I honestly don't know where to start, I've heard so much about you already, and our friends have been pestering us, from what I've heard, for us to go on a date together, apparently we're perfect for each other, that's what they keep saying over and over again, but yeah, exactly, yeah, nothing, I just, I couldn't wait to go on this date, I haven't really been on a date in a long time, that's why they kept insisting that I go out on a date with you, but here we are, so, it's very very nice to meet you, I really don't know where to start this off, I'm sorry if I'm being awkward, I just, I don't really, like I said before, I don't really go on dates that often, if I might say so though, you look beautiful, I like what you did with your hair, I think, they did show me some pictures of you, as I'm sure they showed you pictures of me, but you look amazing, pictures don't do you justice, I just have to say that, but more importantly than that, I just want to get to know you, so, whatever you want to talk about, I'm game, I'm an open book, I love to talk about everything, so, yeah, I'm sorry if I seem really nervous, because it's just that I am, I'm incredibly nervous, so, whatever you want to talk about, oh, my job, of course, I work from home, it's so boring, I really, I prefer not to talk about it, but overall, I just do some data management for a company, I've been doing it for a while now, I basically work full time from home, you know, with COVID and everything, well, it made it go mobile, which was kind of the best thing for me, I know that COVID impacted everybody differently, but for me, it was kind of great, I just got to stay home, the whole, you know, everything changed, and I didn't have to go into the office, and they just made it permanent, so, now I work from home, I basically get to pick my own hours, so that's the best part of the job, everything else, though, it's boring, so, I don't want to bore you with that, but, yeah, what about you, what do you do? Oh, okay, well, I mean, I've never met anybody that does that, so, it might seem impossible that I haven't met anybody that's done that, but I haven't, but it seems like you don't like it, exactly, you don't like it, and I mean, I've never worked in that field before, so, I don't really know how to feel about it, but if you say it sucks, I take your word for it, so, it sucks, yeah, I was going to go get a drink, did you want me to get you one?

Yeah, what would you like? Actually, you know what, I won't get the drink for you, why don't we go get a drink, I just want you to feel, we barely know each other, and I know that it's, well, really different in the dating world for women than it is for men, and I want you to feel comfortable, so, we can just go and order, and that way you get your own drink, if that makes sense, I don't want to, I hate to make that super awkward, but I just don't, I don't know, I'm being weird, aren't I? I'm sorry, I just want you to feel comfortable, that's all, and it would make me feel comfortable if you got your own drink, that's all, okay?

Okay, alright, oh, yeah, no, no, that's fine, we can get it later, we can get it later, I actually wasn't that thirsty, I just wanted a breather from this, look, you seem very sweet, and very nice, and I really appreciate you taking this date with me, but I don't know if I'm, if it's just me, or the fact that I haven't dated in a long time, I got out of a very serious relationship a few months ago, and I haven't really, I'm not over it yet, you know, I'm not over it yet, and I only did this because my friends kept insisting, and they've just, they're good friends, you know, you know them, so, they're good friends, and they just want to see me move on, they care for me, but I didn't have the strength, right, or honestly, I just was trying to see if they were right, you know, come here and see if everything changed, but, well, apparently, I'm not over it, I'm not over her, so, no, you have the total right to ask that, we were, or at least, I was really in love with her, and I didn't figure out until much later that she didn't feel the same way, so, one day, she just came up and told me, and it shattered my world, I'm sorry, I'm, God, I'm such a downer, fuck, you come to just get a date, and then, here I am, bumming you out, right, I just couldn't get any more awkward, could I, look, point is, I don't want to bore you anymore, um, what, no, really, you're not, you're not just saying that, are you, no, well, if we could put aside the date for what a date is, I would just love to hang out with you, if that's okay, yeah, okay, alright, alright, well, here, how about, would you want to get those drinks now, I honestly do need it, yeah, okay, then let's go, um, and after that, we'll just have a not date, we'll just hang out, how does that sound, good, good, okay, alright, let's go, line's over there, so yeah, alright.
