Our first New Year's Eve together, huh? I'm so glad it's with you. I'm really glad we didn't go out.

Couldn't have imagined staying in some smelly club full of people, especially not after the pandemic. But anyway, crowds, I don't know. It just feels right to be with you and only with you.

It feels more special. We can go clubbing any day. 2022 was a hard year, but it was the year when I met you, so I am thankful for that.

I am truly the luckiest girl. I'm so happy that despite how this past year been, how shitty it's been, everyone getting sick, pandemic, inflation, energy crisis, you were the light of my life and you still are. I'm incredibly happy that this year has brought us together.

I just want to talk about how happy you've made me. I'm just so grateful that I have you. I never would have thought that I'll ever meet someone who I have so much in common with.

Someone whose sense of humor just works with mine. I know I keep saying it's terrible, but I think our sense of humor is amazing, actually. People just don't understand us.

I like that we're passionate about the same things. I like that we appreciate the same music, the same sort of art. I just like that everywhere we go, we look at something and we think the same.

Look at that, darling. Isn't that beautiful? And it's like they took the words out of your mouth because you were going to point out the exact same thing.

It's funny because it's like we're meant to be together. We're meant to be each other's. I don't know if I believe in fate.

What if I did? I think this would be it. And now it's a new year, starting with you being able to kiss your lips at midnight.

The fireworks, gosh, will they ever stop? Not that I mind, they are beautiful. But I do hope they won't be on too much longer.

I know I'm not sleepy, not yet. But you know in London, they do fireworks for an entire week. It's like people are obsessed with them just because they're allowed.

Some places have strict regulations. But hey, let's watch a little bit. It is pretty after all.

I do think it's a waste of money, but definitely pretty. Hey, taxpayer money well spent, huh? Taxpayer money well spent, huh? It's beautiful, all the pretty colors lighting up the sky.

I'm just glad I'm with you. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Why are you looking at me like that? Yeah, I'm sentimental as fuck, you knew that.

You smell so nice. I'm just, every time I look at you, I can't believe that I'm lucky enough to have a boyfriend like you. So gorgeous.

My goals for the year, well, I think I'm gonna focus on us and my career. That's all I need in life. I love my job and I love you.

So, you know, what else would I want? I just want to work hard, be more successful and earn more money so you and I can go on holidays. Don't call me that.
