You deserve to relax and destress...
We all suffer from stress, always, and I know that you are suffering from some type of stress. It could be something very minimal, or maybe something more intense. I know that you are stressed, and it does not matter if it is a lot of it, or a very minimal amount.
You must de-stress. You deserve that. You deserve to relax, and to just take some time to decompress.
Because if you do not deal with your stress, it will surely deal with you. Because of this, I have a proposition for you. I want just a moment of your time, so that I can help you relax.
You don't have to sleep, you don't have to take a nap, nothing of that sort. All you need to do is listen. That is all.
So now, if you agree, and you are willing to give me some of your time, so that I may help you, then I want you to do the following. I need you to turn off anything that might be making noise. I need you to go into a room that is quiet, the quietest room that you have.
And if there are more people or pets around you, I want you to be alone from them. This time is sacred for you, no one else. This is your time.
Stress will be dealt in this time, and that is of the utmost importance. So right now, you should be in a very quiet room. If you want to, you can make sure that the blinds are on and that they are covering the sunlight from coming indoors, if there is any sunlight.
Now, I want you to lay down or sit perfectly straight and relaxed. I want you to breathe. Inhale, but when you inhale, I want you to really feel the air going in through your nose and into your lungs.
Feel your lungs expand. And when you exhale, I want you to push that air out. A bit forceful, just a bit.
But I want it to be with reason, with some sort of passion behind your breathing. I want it to be with a purpose, not just you breathing. Feel the motions, keep breathing.
Inhale. Forcefully make your mouth very small when you are exhaling, so that the air must be pushed out forcefully. Inhale.
Like so. Now keep doing that. Breathe in.
Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out.
Breathe in. Breathe out. Now while you keep breathing in and out, when you do the first breath, the first inhale, I want you, without thinking too much, the first thought that comes to your mind.
The first negative thought. I want you to keep it in your mind. Whatever it may be.
The bills, relationship problems, any problems at work, any type of negative impact that you have in your life right now, I want you to inhale it in. And with that inhale you are recognizing that it is there, that it exists, that it is a part of your life. But now, when you exhale, I want you to push it out.
And I want you to push it out with reason. Understanding that it is not in your life at this moment. That you are taking it out of your life.
And that it is inexistent. You are taking it in. And deciding you are not going to bother me right now.
Because right now, I'm okay. You don't live here anymore, at least not right now. I will deal with you whenever I decide to deal with you.
You don't get to bother me all the time. I will deal with you in due time. Now again, think quickly the first negative thought.
Grab it in your mind and keep it right there. Inhale. You are recognizing this problem.
And now in the exhale you push it out. Inhale, next problem. And push it out.
Inhale. And exhale. Inhale.
And exhale. And keep inhaling and exhaling until you have no more thoughts creeping up. Keep doing so.
You are cleansing your mind of worry. And acknowledging the fact that these problems, right in this moment, they do not exist. They do not have a right to make you feel stressed.
They have no right to get into every other aspect of your life and to bother you. They have no right. You decide when you want to deal with them.
Because you are in control. Because you deserve peace, quiet, moments for yourself. Where you can be okay.
Where you can just live without worry. Without all these little, stupid, annoying problems. You deserve much better.
You deserve to at least have peace. Now again, inhale. And exhale.
Inhale. And exhale. Keep going.
And now I'm going to finally say one last thing. And it is that you deserve much more than you give credit to yourself. You do deserve happiness.
You deserve peace. You deserve all the good things that you might keep from yourself. Because you do not feel worthy of it.
You absolutely, without a doubt, 100% deserve it. You deserve all the good things, all the positive things that you think about. Now keep inhaling and exhaling until you feel completely at peace.
And once you have had your moment, once you have had maybe even a nap, you will wake up or you will leave this room feeling refreshed and full of energy. Full of self love. And full of complete peace.
And absolutely no stress. Keep inhaling and exhaling. Inhaling and exhaling.
