It's just, um, this is all a little bit unreal to me. I'm still trying to wrap my head around all this. Gosh, I wasn't even looking for the woman of my dreams and I found her.

And she fell in love with me and now we're married and we're in our new home. Doesn't that just seem a little bit surreal? Well, it does to me.

No, no, it's good. It's everything I've ever dreamed of. It's just, um, it's just surreal is the only word I got for it.

All my dreams coming true, everything coming together like this. This is, sweetheart, I'm living my fairytale. What? You know I romanticize things.

Come here, I love you. You are such a pain though. You're making this more complicated than it has to be.

I'm just saying, it's a wonderful feeling, but it's still hard to get my mind around it. Yeah, I know, I know, I know, we haven't finished unpacking everything, we haven't really moved in all the way. But that doesn't mean it's not my dream, not my fairytale.

Alright, close your eyes. Now, picture in your mind's eye, living room, okay, the carpet on the floor, we got sofas, we got end tables, lamps, coffee table, TV, books on the shelves. Picture our dining room, a nice table, chairs, china, we're having dinner parties, we're having friends over.

Think about our bedroom, not just the bed in there, but the little nook over there by the window, chairs and a table, and you and I sitting there on a sunny day, just enjoying the warmth of the sun and one another's company. Think of our kitchen, the two of us in there cooking together, or you cooking and me, you know, distracting you. This is my dream, baby, this, what we're living, is what I've hoped for, it's what I've wanted, it's what I've needed.

Well, that's true, we can't do all that at once. Baby, we're a young couple starting out, yeah, I know, and we got, okay, let's count our blessings here. We got our dream home, right? This is the home that we've wanted, fortunately, you know, we were able to get the loan we needed, secure the mortgage we wanted.

This is not a starter home, we're gonna stay here a very long time, baby, we're gonna raise our kids here. And it's in a great neighborhood, schools are wonderful here, we're convenient to everything that we want, everything that we need. This is a place we're gonna be really happy for a good long time.

We don't have to furnish it all, you know, right off the bat, just a bit here, a bit there, you know, we budget for it, we save for it, and we do it, one piece at a time. And it doesn't mean that we haven't moved in just because we haven't furnished the formal dining room yet, we'll get there. Everything in its time, everything in its time, yeah, yeah, you can open your eyes.

I just wanted you to picture this. Come here, you're not done yet. I love you too, so much, so much.

Yeah, show me. I know, I know, you are a Pinterest gal, that's a, show me what you got, mm-hmm. I know, I know, show me the board, look, baby, I'm just interested to see what you got here.

Okay, let's go through it. I know it doesn't mean we're going to do everything here, but I'm perfectly happy to look at this and get ideas and get excited with you, talk about what we're doing, make our plans. And the whole point of all this, right, is that we're going to look at these things, get ideas, and we're going to personalize it and make it us.

Exactly, so show me what you got there. Okay, you know, I really like that kitchen, I do, you know, I like that the lights are pendant lamps, I think they've chosen a really good color, you know, I don't really go for kitchens that are too dark or too light, I kind of like a medium tone, and a lot of wood, I love wood, the wood-looking kitchens and stuff, I just, I go for it. What else? I like the kitchen island there.

They got, they got power outlets on that, right? Yeah. And I like the bar stools.

Baby, that's perfect. I mean, because our island is going to be, you know, accommodate that kind of thing. Yeah, of course I can.

I can totally do that. Sweetheart, I've done electrical outlets before, I know how to do it. And in this case, what you're asking for is just switching them out.

I can put some in with like USB plugs, it's easy. I am not going to electrocute myself. Besides, I thought you liked my hair spiky.

Yeah, I could totally do that. No, I know it turns you on when I do home improvement stuff. No, I'm not just supporting your ideas so I can do all this work and then get some.

Remember when I told you you're a pain in the ass? Case in point. You're my pain in the ass.

That's the important part. Yeah, I could go for that kind of thing. I think they've matched the tones here really well.
