Welcome, welcome to the November 2021 Q&A. I want to make it known first and foremost before we go anywhere else that this is the final thing I have to record for the month of November and today is November 12th. So very proud of myself.

This is the first time since I started the Patreon that I have finished all of my recording obligations before the midpoint of the month. So very proud of myself. Those of you in the Polaris tier, you got a love confession audio coming up that I recorded the other day.

I think you're going to like it. In any event, please go back and listen to the other Q&A's. I sometimes get some questions that have been asked multiple times.

If you're trying to catch me in a lie, see if I change my answer, then go ahead and ask the same question again. But otherwise, check out what I've said before and maybe come up with some follow-ups or that sort of thing. If you were going to ask a question that has already been asked.

I'm not saying that's happened a lot here. I mean, there's one or two that I've been asked before, but happy to answer them again. All right.

Well, first off, Jen asks, if you shop on Black Friday, are you typically a shop in store or online person? I never shop in stores on Black Friday. It's just too much madness for me for the amount of savings that I would get for the amount of stuff that I buy.

My time is more valuable. So if I'm going to shop on Black Friday, I'm going to do it online. Pretty much, I'm just going to look for the better, you know, before Christmas sales and go with those, whether those are Black Friday or some other day.

Tisha asks, when all is done, work, audio is everything. What is your go-to activity? A couple of things that I like to do.

I do like to read. I haven't done a whole lot of it lately. I'm pretty busy.

I like to watch shows on Netflix or occasionally Disney Plus has a good thing on. I'm pretty solidly a Netflixer. What I've been watching lately is a show from a few years back called Person of Interest.

Highly recommended. I happen to have the not Netflix version of it. I think it was on Netflix and it may have been taken off now, but check that out if you have the means to do so.

BB Unit asks, do you think Jake ever really fancied Liberty? Now, for those of you who don't know, this is a question about Love Island season seven. I think he did.

I think he did. I don't know if he was ever as into it as she was. I'm very underwhelmed with her behavior, especially towards the end of the season.

And I think that he kind of fell out of fancy ship with her as a result of that. She was just acting very immature in a lot of ways. And for a guy like Jake, that is a few years older than her, I think it kind of just cooled him off towards her a bit.

But that's me playing armchair psychologist here with absolutely no nothing to back up my opinion. So take it with a grain of salt. Do you have any other creative outlets, painting, writing, music making, etc? Well, I'm a very talented pianist and I can sing.

Actually, you know what, going back to something that that Tisha asked the one about when all is done, what's my go to activity? I also like music. I love music.

And when I listen to music, I I listen actively. I don't typically have music on in the background. It's usually the activity that I'm doing is listening to the music.

And so that piggybacks onto this creative outlets. I love singing along with my music. I love singing along.

In fact, there's a song by Spitz that's in Japanese that I can sing the entire song in Japanese. I have no idea what I'm saying, but I know every word. Have you got any guilty pleasure movie that you can watch again and again? She's the Man is the correct answer here, by the way.

I've never seen She's the Man. Sorry. And I intend to keep that watch count at zero.

If I had to pick a guilty pleasure movie I could watch again and again, I'd say Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Thirteen. There is no Ocean's Twelve. If you try to convince me that there's one, it's just proof that you're wrong.

And have you got a favorite audio of yours? I've been asked this a few times. I am very proud of some of them.

The Dragon audio so far so good. That one was a technical achievement for me. Did a lot of effects work and over 30 effects overlaid on one another with different distances, lateralities, etc.

In about a six to eight second period of time in that audio took me a lot of time to assemble that. I have a lot of other audios that I've done some stuff with that I'm very technically, I'm proud of the technical aspects of them. If you really want to get some insights into some of those, go to the audio creation channel in the Discord server, and check that out.

Because usually when I when I have had an audio that I'm particularly proud of, I've gone ahead and put it up there. Or, you know, thrown back the curtain a little bit into the creative process behind it. Mello asks, Do you like carnival food? If so, what's your favorite thing to eat at one? I really don't know carnival food all that well, except I love cotton candy, and I love corn dogs.

So I would have to say if that counts, then yes, and that's what I like. But pretty much anything that's gonna make me die of a heart attack is food I like. It doesn't mean that's all I eat.

Just saying, I try to eat healthy. But I still like the stuff that's gonna kill me young. That Bonnie Lass asks, Why do some stars blink red and blue? Are they alien police? I think that's a very solid hypothesis.

And I think it merits further testing. You know, they're putting up a new I can't remember when it goes live. There's a the next generation of space telescope that makes the Hubble obsolete.

Maybe that one's gonna show us, you know, some alien police cruisers running around in space. Be pretty badass, honestly, if you ask me. In real world terms, I think it has something to do with the light that's emitted by the star and its refraction in our atmosphere or something like that.

You'd have to ask somebody that's smart. I don't know. Britney asks, What's something you wish you could experience again for the first time? Um, you know, I still remember the first time that I really got a good in country experience out of the United States.

Somewhere that I was immersed was, you know, more than just like a day trip down to Tijuana is what I'm talking about. And I just remember being wide eyed and in wonder at everything around me and the difference in the country there. And oh my gosh, I'm in a foreign land.

And I've done a lot of international travel since then. I've been to every populated continent except for Australia. I've been to Oh, gosh.

Between 15 and 20 different countries, I want to say. And I just I just remember that first wide eyed look at the world when I got out of the US. And it's kind of lost a little bit of its wonder for me because, you know, I've been to a bunch of different places now.

I still love traveling, still have seen other places and different cultures and that sort of thing. I have no problem going to a place where I don't speak the language and getting off the plane and finding my way around. But, you know, there's something about that innocence of the first time out of the country, where you just seeing the world through new eyes for the first time that that I would be cool to experience that again.

Do you have an audio that did better than you originally thought it would? I all the time and saying, oh my gosh, this audio did better than I thought it would. The one that really blew the doors off of things was the hoodie audio, which by the way, I recorded a second hoodie audio the other day.

So watch that probably this coming week. Well, coming week after when I record this on November 12, I don't remember exactly when this is going to get posted this Q&A. Others that did really well that I didn't.

Oh, you know what was one that really blew up recently that I did not expect. If you recall, there was that lie here with me audio where I did three different versions, one that was the short version 20 minutes long, one that had an hour of 40 minutes of sleep sounds after the 20 minute audio, and one that looped it for a full hour of positive affirmations. The positive affirmations version just suddenly blew up on YouTube.

And let me take a look. It's currently at bear with me here. Bear with me bear with me.

It's currently at 82,000 views, whereas the other two are at 14,000 and 9.6,000. So it's slowed down a bit now, but it was it was really cooking there for a while. And it's not one that I expected.

It kind of came out of nowhere that that one did so well. Do you have a favorite board game? If I had to pick one, I'd say probably either Settlers of Catan or, oh shoot, I'm trying to blink, trying to blink.

Ticket to Ride is a lot of fun. Crap, what am I thinking of? Let's just go with Catan.

Catan is a brilliant game. Love it. Love it to death.

Unrefined Sugar, Chicken Tenders, or Chicken Nuggets? Number one favorite would have to be.
