To unlearn you would be a misery to my humanity. I cannot imagine an existence without your own. I'm not sure I could function enough without your footprint having walked this earth.

For it would be too much for my soul to behold. Nothing else could crack my mold, but for the erasing of your history from me would mean no thought of all to look upon in my regard. I'd rather you drive me into an abyss where I cannot find you, knowing that you at least once were, than to feel your spirit in me and haven't seen you at all, haven't experienced you at all, laughed, cried, bled with you at all.

For you are time without light, light without life, light without darkness, darkness without you. Stars without a moon is no star at all, the aeon to my matter. I'd rather live in blindness than to have been spellbound by your grace.

Be merciful, for then let it ail me less as a fool who hadn't touched real love at all, than to never remember you. Poem.
