So I wasn't gonna just leave them in a vase, uh, but, but it's so cold. And, uh, um, uh, please, please don't, uh, please don't punch me.

You, um, you might break your hand like the last guy and I, I don't, I don't want to hurt no one. I just, I, uh, uh, when, when you said hi earlier, I realized I should get you a housewarming gift and, and, and you're so pretty and, uh, and, and you seem lonely and, uh, um, oh, okay. All right.

I, I planted them by the river and they've, uh, they've really grown over the years. I'm, I'm proud of them. You know, uh, they don't talk or, uh, think.

I, I think, can you imagine? They'd be all like, oh, quit it, bees. Or, uh, or, um, they, maybe, uh, kissy noises like that.

Uh, the, the quiet is, it's nice, uh, being, uh, being disconnected is, uh, it's nice. But, uh, cause I, I, I, I guess I didn't realize how much I miss having a human friend, you know, really, uh, that's, that's mighty kind of you, uh, especially considering how annoying I, I can be with all my, uh, my stammering and, um, such. I, I get it. I, it's beautiful out here. Even if you can't get a cell signal, uh, peace is nice, but, uh, having more than, uh, than, than the birds and other critters to talk to, uh, sounds nice too.

Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Uh, I have, uh, a little place on my property that does some small wildlife rehabilitation. Uh, mostly, mostly birds.

Uh, I, I, I like birds, even if they're, uh, they're always kind of mean. Crows, uh, crows, crows are fun if you make peace with them. Uh, we, we had a cassowary once that got loose from a zoo, uh, I guess.

And named him Tom. He, he kicked me pretty hard. That's, uh, that's how I got these, uh, big scars, actually.

See? Hurt, uh, hurt like hell. But it's, it's not like he was being mean on purpose.
