Even though this is temporary, as until my place is finished with all of its numerous repairs, me staying with you is still a big step. It's a big step for you, for me, for us. You're opening up your space to me in a way you haven't before.

I'm coming into your space in a way I haven't before, and it's tested our relationship for the worse and the better. You know, learning to cohabitate isn't as easy as some make it out to be. To not be so consumed with work and school and every other thing we find ourselves worrying about. But that's where we balance each other. You never shy away from telling me to stop pouring over all my notes and trying to perfect everything.

You never shy away from telling me to just breathe. And I'm always quick to remind you that it's okay to have moments like this, where you can tell me what's on your mind, where you're allowed to have love and be loved. And let's not forget how often I remind you to drink water, because boy, do you not drink enough.

We help each other to wind down, and that's really special to me. It's special to you too. Well, good.
