I cannot believe that we are already in the middle of December. Christmas is coming up. I think Hanukkah is just about over.

Everybody is in a tizzy. It seems things are going full speed. There's cookies, there's gifts, there's events to attend, there's all kinds of madness going on.

Lights to put up, decorations, all of that good stuff. And I just wanted to take a minute to say, hey, I hope you're doing well. I hope you're doing all right.

If you're listening to this audio, you probably listened to some of my other stuff and I appreciate you being around. I hope that you have a safe and fun holiday season with your family or your friends or your loved ones or by yourself if that's what you need. I hope your plans come to fruition.

I hope your food is delicious. I hope your oven is the right temperature every single time. If you're giving an especially thoughtful gift this year, I hope it lands perfectly.

I'm probably going to spend a bit of time just driving around at some point looking at all the different lights. It's one of my favorite things to do during the holidays. Google which houses have the best lights near me and just go and see what's doing.

And usually the bigger places have some kind of donation or they're working with a children's hospital or something. So you see some lights, you get to do a little good, give a little back. And I think that's a lot of what this season is about.

It's about recognizing the warmth and the joy and the love around you and giving back a little bit when we can. And that's something that I certainly hope to do. Not just in orgasms but also maybe smiles or some forced laughter.

Do I need to tell the chicken coop joke? I'm not going to tell the chicken coop joke. This is a season for a lot of us that contains multitudes.

It's both the hustle and bustle and also we have people like me telling you to take a second to slow down and breathe and smell the coffee and all that good stuff. And like all things in life, there is a balance to be struck between the merrymaking and the making time for yourself. So my other set of hopes for this holiday season is that you are well, is that you are taking care of yourself, is that you are giving your body what it needs to do its best work, that you are feeding your brain positive ideas and nice words and kind actions and kind thoughts.

I hope the people around you recognize the light that you bring into a room. I hope you are appreciated, respected and loved everywhere you go, not just during the holiday season but all year round because you deserve it. I hope you make the most of the short days and the long nights.

I hope that the little acts of kindness, compassion and love that you give out in this season inspire somebody else to turn around and do the same because that's really what we're all trying to do, right? It feels a little lonely in this world and we feel like we are the only ones pushing for good. And it seems that way sometimes, doesn't it? Like the world's a big place and suddenly it gets very small and very close.

It is especially important during those times to remember that a kind act in words can be just as beneficial as one to somebody else. And I'll go ahead and head off the question of, well what can I do? What are some kind things? Giving yourself some peace for a second, I've come to find is one of the best things I can do for myself.

Going outside, especially when it's a little cold out, putting on just enough layers that I'm, you know, warm, comfortable, but definitely aware that there's a chill in the air and taking a minute to just look around and see what there is. I know in my yard there's still a lot of squirrels going and doing squirrel things. There are still a few birds and there's a little breeze on my cheek that reminds me that I can still feel that it's cold out.

And I still feel warm when I go back inside and I love that feeling. In fact, I'd say it's almost exactly the same as the feeling I get when I do something nice for somebody else. So during this season when it's a very cold time of year and it seems like some people have not even enough patience for themselves, well just a reminder to be the warm hand that somebody else can hold.

Be the warm touch on somebody's cheek and all that takes is a small act of kindness. It doesn't take much, but everybody feels it. And that's really what brightens up this season.

I really appreciate all of you being here, being around, enjoying my content, giving me feedback. I appreciate it so much. And I can't wait to share even more with you the rest of this year, next year, and onwards.

So from me to you and yours and your pets and your friends and everybody who you feel good about, I hope you have a phenomenal holiday season. Whatever you do, however you celebrate, if you don't celebrate at all, if you celebrate every little moment, I hope it is treasured and I hope you keep those little things with you throughout the season. Thank you for being part of what makes this my favorite time of year.

Thank you for enjoying it with me. I hope you have a great day.
