Alright now sweetheart, what we're going to do today is I'm gonna teach you about weapons, firearms specifically. I want to make sure that you understand them. If there's ever any threat on your life and there's a weapon present, you'll be able to use it.

So that's what I'm gonna teach you right now because I never want you. To be afraid or to not be able to defend yourself. So here I have just a few types of firearms.

What we're going to go through is the differences in how each firearm operates. From loading it, to prepping it, then finally firing it. So, here we have four firearms.

The first one I'm gonna discuss with you are revolvers. Here we have a Smith & Wesson revolver. Looks really nice doesn't it? Just like you in a sundress.

Apologies sweetheart, but I had to say it. For it's very true. Now for revolvers what you need to understand is they are double and single action.

For all of these guns I will use those meanings, those categories. What that means is for double action, if I pull the trigger, the hammer moves back and then it's released in one pull like so. Now, when it's single action you have to pull back the hammer first and then you must press it to release it.

But you won't have to worry about these things. See the only gun that's actually single action right here, the 1911 Colt. But we'll get to that one soon enough.

Now for the revolver. See this little latch right here? You push it and then with your pointer finger you move over the cylinder.

It'll fall out. Then you tilt it back and all of the bullets will come out. Or you can just press this right here and it will release them.

And to load them you just load them in individually, one by one. Most revolvers will only have six slots. But that's all you need.

After doing so you push the cylinder back in. And you're ready to fire. That is technically all you need to know about revolvers.

Quite easy isn't it? Now, one last thing actually I forgot. If you push this, the same thing that releases the cylinder, back.

Now the gun is locked. It's on safety. See? The hammer won't function.

So you always want to make sure that that does work. And that it's forward. So that way it will be live.

And you'll be able to fire. Now we get into the good stuff. Pistols.

The very first thing you need to understand is all pistols use magazines. They do not use clips. That's not what they're called.

Everyone does call them that, but that's incorrect. And most guns, most pistols, you'll be able to access or release the magazines with a button. Like so.

This one right here. Or this one right here. Now other pistols nowadays, more modern ones, will have a lever.

See that in the guard? This is the trigger guard. If you push this down, it releases it as well.

That's a lot newer though. You'll rarely see it, but if you cannot find a button, just know that it's on the guard. And you can access it there.

Now the most pivotal thing you'll need to understand is most guns, most pistols, whenever they've gone empty, they will lock back. Like so. That means that your magazine is out of bullets, out of rounds.

What you need to do is release it, grab a loaded Which, by the way, this is obviously not loaded right now. Put it in. Like so.

And then, just press down on the slide release. Like so. Now you can be certain that there is a round in the chamber.

Meaning that the weapon is actually live. You must treat it like so. On another day I will teach you how to actually fire a gun correctly.

But for now I just want you to understand how they work. Because that is far more important than you knowing how to fire one. Especially when you don't know what you have in your hand.

Subsequently, how to use it. Now, the only other pistol that you do need to know, to identify, is the Colt. The main reason is because this firearm is actually one of the only pistols where you have to make sure that the hammer is cocked back before you even pull the trigger.

Because it is a single action trigger. Because it is a single action trigger. Meaning that it only works to release the hammer.

Now the reason why it only has to be on the very first pull is because when you fire, what happens? The hammer goes down. The slide goes back.

It shoots the projectile out the front of the barrel. A shell is ejected on the side, right here. And then it goes back forward.

Meaning that it re-cocks the hammer every single time you fire. That is why it is imperative that you make sure that on the very first pull, before you fire, you must make sure that the hammer is back. Otherwise, try pulling it.

Nothing happens, you see. Unlike this firearm. But now if you do this.

Fire it. See. Then it works because it releases it.

So that is all you need to know for now, love. I promise you another day I will teach you how to fire it properly. Then we will do some drills.

Then another day I want to teach you how to do knife work. That is very imperative for you. Especially since I want to give you a knife of your own.

And I want to make sure you are responsible enough to carry it. But for now everything else is fine. I hope you understand all of this and that you practice every once in a while.

Just make sure you tell me. So I can check you out while you do. Alright, sweetheart.

I promise we don't have to do this anymore. Enough firearm talk. We can go now and get some beer or some wine.

How does that sound? Good. And remember.

The only reason why I am teaching you all of this is because I want you to be safe. I want you to be alright. Better to be prepared than not needed.

And not be prepared than be sorry. That you are not prepared. So.

I love you. Let's go.
