I walked into the spa to find a nice young man at the counter named Donnell. We discussed what I wanted. I picked out a massage, a mani-pedi, and a soak in a hot bath.

He's an idiot for dumping me, I said to myself. Thinking of a new man's hands on me for the first time in two years got me excited. I wrapped up in a towel and stepped out of the locker room.

The aroma of lavender filling the air was intoxicating. Donnell walked into the room and told me my bath was ready. We walked into the room together, and he turned away as I dropped the towel to the floor and stepped into the milky white water.

He got behind me to rub my shoulders, and I relaxed a bit into his big hands.
