I do like to mess around with making my audience "dumber" If only for a little while.
Welcome to another Muse recording. Take a nice deep breath and with that deep breath I want you to just relax. Relax everything below your knees.
Relax your calves. Relax your ankles. Relax your feet and relax your toes.
Relax your thighs and relax your waist. Relax your chest as much as you are able to. Take a nice deep breath and with that deep breath I want you to just relax and picture all of the trances you've ever had stacking up into a nice big tower.
A tower that you can climb down into. Good. Now find your deepest level of trance and push it deeper and deeper and deeper still.
Now relax your shoulders. Good. Good.
Now relax your neck and relax your jaw. Relax all the little muscles around your eyelids. Feel your eyelids getting nice and loose.
Nice and heavy. Nice and smooth. In a moment I'm going to ask you to open your eyelids and when I do your eyelids will be so heavy they'll just barely open.
When I ask you to close them again they'll be about 1600 levels deeper into trance than you are right now. So go ahead and open your eyes. Now close your eyes.
Now I want you to just picture in your mind's eye that chalkboard that I always have you picture with the same alphabet written on it and you know with each letter that I have you erase you'll go further and further in your mind into relaxation, into trance. Just fall deeper into trance. Don't think about all the things you're worried about right now. Just put those thoughts aside.
Just allow yourself to think about the fireworks going off right now. You can see them going on and with each burst of colour you're feeling your little brain just getting dumber. Getting dumber and dumber for me.
You're losing your little IQ points with each little burst of colour. That's right. Each little boom, boom, boom is making you dumb, dumb, dumb.
But it feels good to lose yourself, doesn't it? And this little loss of IQ that you're experiencing is going to last for the duration of about 45 minutes or for as long as it takes you to complete a call with me. Whichever happens first, sweetheart.
So, for as long as you want to be dumb, you're gonna be dumb. Whether it's gonna be that 45 minutes or an entire call with me, you're gonna be my dumb little puppet. And you're really gonna enjoy it.
Because we both know that you could really use the break. And that's really what you crave, isn't it, sweetheart? To lose yourself.
So just let yourself go. When you hear that boom, boom, boom, you really enjoy it, don't you, sweetie? In fact, I'm gonna count from 5 to 1.
