It feels kind of cold out here, but it's very beautiful out today, especially the way the sun is out. Thank you for accompanying me on this stroll through the forest, and thankfully, it is daytime, so no accidental transformations to ruin a perfectly good date like this. Desperate times call for desperate measures, I'm afraid. And believe it or not, I'm desperate enough to even expose my poor nose to your stench. Then why take the risk? Well, if you must know, I'm looking for the idol of Runos.

I have been looking for artifacts imagining the scent of everything related to Runos. Oh no! My scrolls! Ah, so you do have something of Runos.

One of those scrolls may contain the information I need to locate the idol. Hand over those scrolls, and I'll be on my way. No way! Those scrolls belong to my family! Oh, come now.

If you at least let me look at them, then you'll never have to see me ever again. Not a chance in hell! You'll be on your way because I'll rip your goddamn throat out if you don't leave right now! Listen here, you little beta reject.

I was once the proud alpha of the fiercest pack of werewolves that ever walked this earth. Yes, and we ended up deserting you for a new alpha, who's the reject now. That's it! I tried to be civil, but to hell with that.

Now we're all cozied up together. I think I should explain a little about what happened earlier. The werewolf that you encountered earlier is called Otsana, the once-proud alpha of her own pack, the largest and toughest amongst werewolves.

She was once my alpha. I joined her pack when I was younger so that I could learn more about being a werewolf. It was fun for a while, but over time, Otsana became increasingly violent.

She was desperately trying to keep her status amongst an ever-growing, tenacious pack. One day, I had enough of her so I left the pack and became a lone wolf. I was not the only one who did this, but I was the first to leave.

One by one, other members did the same until only a few were left. This made her a little more bitter towards me. Then, one day, a little bad wolf came to town and thus became the leader of what remained of the pack.

Steadily, his pack grew until Otsana was forced to leave her territory altogether. She wandered into my area where she had a confrontation. Only adding to her hatred of me, I defeated her.

She decided to leave my territory for good after that. You see, when a werewolf senses danger, we immediately transform, regardless of what time of day or moon cycle it is. By smelling her and her smelling me, it actually triggered our full transformation.

Both of our aggressiveness increased until we went full-on wolf mode. The idol of Runos? That's what she wants, yes.

Many of the legends were burned away because of Christianity, trying to hide the world of all other religions, but apparently my family kept scrolls of the idol. I have the lone scroll that reveals the whereabouts of the idol. Well, she wants the idol so badly because the legend states that whoever holds the idol will become alpha of not only all werewolves, but all werebeasts.

Obviously, she believes that if she gets her hands on that idol, she can regain her pack that was stolen from her, and so she can make me and the current alpha of her old pack submit to her. She would become the most powerful beast in the world if she gained that idol, hence why I would never let her read from a scroll. What she doesn't know is that the idol has an adverse effect that, well, um.

.. Is that your work alarm? Oh, do you really have to leave now? Okay, fine.

But when you get back, please wake me up. I want some more snuggle time. Now come here so I can give you some more cheese.

To think that she of all people would want that idol. I have to do everything in my power to make sure she doesn't get her hands on it. Otherwise she wouldn't only be putting other werebeasts in danger.
