So this audio is a bit different not in a bad way I'm not sure how well this one will do but I'm kind of excited for it so long story short I had something go wrong on my computer and I just lost all my files so I'm sure I'll mention in the post whether I managed to fix it when I post this but to kind of cheer myself up and do something fun I thought I'd do it an audio where I talk about my plushies if I remember I'll include photos so as you might know or not if you're new I really like plushies like a lot it's always been a big like feminine outlet for me as a trans woman it was like the one kind of girly thing I was allowed to do when I was little so over time I've gotten lots and lots of plushies lots of soft soft friends so I'm gonna introduce a couple and tell you the story of how I got them and why they're important because like you hear a lot of people like certain music because it like reminds them of a certain time in their life um plushies kind of do that for me because I usually get them when I go somewhere you know but there's no better plushie to start with than teddy the teddy bear teddy is a simple bear plushie they're just a bear but they're very friendly I got them when I was born it was those kind of like bears you get with a newborn child so that means this bear is older than me by at least a few days I'd imagine and this bear has always been with me and I was like a baby and a toddler I'd always play with it when I started primary school I played with it quite a bit I also have a really strong core memory when I was I'm gonna say eight um I was at someone's birthday party and it was like a very like boys birthday party kind of thing so everyone wanted to play really rough like tackle games and I didn't like that kind of thing I didn't like that kind of thing so I remember that I um because I was the kind of kid to bring all my plushies to every single like sleepover I instead played with my plushies with the host's sister um she happened to really like plushies and that moment really stuck with me and it was a time when I wasn't able to really play games with other girls so it was really nice I I think we were in like a little corner and we like both yelled out this is the teddy club something like that I hold it very dear and I'm glad this little plushie has been with me my entire life very literally okay next plushie I don't know how many I'll do because um you know eventually you'll fall asleep or I will run out of time to record let's see what happens first so next we have trunky the elephant trunky is a kind of blackish gray with a little truck and some tusks and it's in like a walking motion so I got them at a zoo when I was like six maybe five actually maybe earlier it's hard to remember but it's a long time ago trunky was the second plushie I ever got I ever got I really really like them they're really cute I have little floppy ears it's just really cute we still have the tag um apparently it's probably uh copyright 2004 so I would have been probably four that's why tags are really good to have just so you know you know um they have a little bit of dust around their tusks because I think it got caught in between the tusk and the in the little nose um either way they're a really fun toy to play with and I was really little I always get other plushies to like ride on their back I thought it was really cute um trunky means a lot to me I don't have a specific life-changing story with trunky but with that teddy club story I mentioned with my first plushie uh trunky was there too I think there was another sleepover where I had teddy and trunky and I think I said like oh if the plushies fall off my bed I will not fall asleep and I think the friend there like tested the theory um and they gently put the plushie off the bed that obviously I could hear them move the plushie so I guess my theory was technically correct via um totally good uh kid science all right which plushie next which plushie next I'm gonna like try and go in order but I'm probably not going to do it very successfully um we have a little penguin they aren't the only penguin I have but they are still special I got this penguin at a water park probably a little bit after I got trunky I really like the penguins at water parks I know there's something about them I couldn't help but love I always thought the way they slid on their stomachs were really cool I um I think little kid me tried to replicate it like I'll try to like run on the grass and then go on my stomach um I I don't think I did explain this but I wasn't very successful but it is what it is um truth be told I think this is the only plushie I have that doesn't have a name um I think I just called them bear but I don't remember they were a bit dustier than the other ones because I think when I was little I think they got stuck under the bed for a bit but then later I found them but I I think I I got this one I like a school fate which um in case that's not a thing in other countries it was like this thing I had in Australia where it was like these little stalls that'd be in like your school and you'd get these little token things and you would win certain games and you had to buy things like like the plushies like I did I feel like this plushie is from a tv show I feel like this plushie is from a tv show maybe sesame street I don't actually know and I don't really have a way to google it um so if you happen to know where this plushie is from let me know that's assuming I put a video over this probably not this is probably audio only huh so next up we have two dolphin plushies now I don't remember if I got them at the same time or years apart but I kind of associate them like together probably because they're both dolphins but I believe the bigger dolphin at least came from the same water park as the penguin um I don't have a specific story um I know the little one I I remembered I lost the little one for a bit and I was kind of upset about it I was kind of upset about it unfortunately um I don't think my parents had the best approach to calming me down I won't go into it too much because I want this to be relaxing but I was pretty upset that day but I didn't give up eventually I found the little dolphin and I'm really glad I did they were hidden under my bed and I was so happy when I found them it was like so joyous it was a really great moment even if it required a bad one to get there there so I think this point onwards because of like changing social expectations of me by society I had a brief period where I didn't get that many new plushies um because because I was closeted as a trans girl I took a while before I was like openly a girl so that meant that people weren't buying me plushies anymore which was kind of upsetting but sometime in primary school I was able to get a plushie of the black puffle from Club Penguin if you've played that I miss that game a lot like in primary school I um everyone was really into like runescape and that kind of thing but I was always more of a Club Penguin kind of person and I think it just appealed to me more I like the fun minigames and the world was really cute you could be a ninja that's the fun time and in case you want to know um I had every puffle at least all the ones that are available at the time I think my favorite puffle was the yellow one because they were like an artist and I like drawing so I was like they're like so me that's kind of what I felt at the time but if you were to ask me now probably still the yellow one but the black one has a lot of personality too they're really fun so now we're up to high school era in high school I started to be more interested in plushies again because they were cute and I'd start to get lots of them in crane machines but one that has a story is this little pig so when I went to Japan for the first time Universal Studios had like a monster hunter themed area and they had a gift shop see what I mean most videos come from like places I go that it's a little pig from monster hunter which is a game if you don't know um it's like a action-y kind of one you like fight the big dragons and and then that kind of thing it's really fun actually it's like a nostalgic favorite for me um so this little pig is dressed like a magician you got a cute little hat and there is kind of fluff out of it you can't take off the hat but that's okay because I why would I it's so cute um I don't seem to have a u listed on the toy tag because I don't have the heart to remove the tags it's too hard for me so yeah I'd say it'd be like 2015 wait no 14 yeah 14 um I got this little pig I can't show it in this audio clip because if I press down on them they do like a whole like oink sound effect but if I did an oink sound effect it would um not be very relaxing I don't think so if you want to hear the oink um comment below but not right now because you're relaxing okay next up I'm going to do these together because I got them around the same time so a couple years later when I turned 18 I went to Japan by myself it was my first like solo adventure you know which by the way was very fun it was truly my first taste of like being an adult because like I could go where I want I could buy my own food that sort of thing so of course with my newfound adult freedom I bought pokemon plushies at the pokemon center it's like a at the pokemon center it's like a shop but it's called the pokemon center you know what I mean um I got a mudkip and an aurekorea for people that don't know mudkip's like a little little blue plushie a little fin at the top and a little tail I don't know what animal mudkip's based on that when I was really little I played pokemon sapphire which is a game where I got to have mudkip on my team and they always stood out as one of my favorites for a really long time that is so cute so cute next up aurekorea they're like a yellow bird but with cheerleader pom-poms as wings I really really like this one um I didn't know that in Japan you could get like basically every pokemon as a plushie I thought aurekorea was too niche to get a plushie but I was wrong maybe downside of the plushie is that I had a lot of trouble like not getting the pom-poms dirty because I think this is the material that dust really likes to go on them and that I do my best either way they're a cute pom-pom bird and I think they're great they're very fun and cheerful and when I played pokemon sun for the first time I think that was my favorite pokemon game for such a long time just the the beach theme and everything was just really fun and cozy and it just made me happy and it was a really cool game to play with my friends my friends right before high school finished for me it was a cool thing to play before that kind of era finished up so for that um this little bird means a lot to me so next up we have two wonderful penguin plushies these ones I got in 2021 and for me that was a really big year so we have one of them just has a little blue hoodie has a little blue hoodie it's really cute um and the other one doesn't have a hoodie but they're a bit fluffy so I named that one fluffy and then the hoodie one is named blue I'm quite a fan of these plushies a lot of new things are kind of beginning for me with a lot of lockdown and pandemic stuff I didn't get to go out very much in 2020 like a lot of people so around that time I was also doing like a career change and also changing.
