I'm all ears. Here, I have some stools by the front counter. Have a seat.

Let me make you some tea while we talk. I've got some water already boiling. I've got a special herbal blend I grow myself from the garden outback.

It's a nice combo that's relaxing, but it won't put you to sleep, so it's great when you just need to wind down. Here you go. I put a little honey in it to help make it sweeter.

Let it cool off if you need to. Now, what's ailing you? Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm. Oh, that's an awesome field to be in. Oh.

Oh, yeah? Not good enough? What do you mean? It sounds like you're already doing your best with it.

Mm-hmm. Oh, I may have something to help you. Hang on a sec.

Mm. Wait, you said for how long? Uh-huh.

Um. Uh-huh. Okay, so I have a little spell ritual that I can recommend for you to do to give you a sort of boost.

Would you mind hearing me out? Yeah? Awesome.

So it's pretty simple and doesn't take too much time either. So sometime in the evening when the sun's down or before you go to bed, put this orange candle in a holder or in a safe place to burn. Oh, and please don't burn your place down.

Then you write something down on one of these slips of paper that you want to bring more into your life. It could be anything like inspiration, confidence, courage, stuff like that. But the trick is, as you write it, imagine what it would feel like if you already had it.

You can sit with that feeling for a few moments and just hold it in your mind. Then when you feel ready, rip the paper up into as many tiny pieces as you can and set it next to the candle. And then you blow the candle out and that's it.

You can repeat it for as many nights as you want to. Oh, and the potion bottle there? I threw that in because I made a new flavor of fizzy water that I think you'd like.

That's separate from this. Yeah, I do a version of this myself whenever I feel stressed or I have something I'm working on that just needs some magical oomph. Oh, but you still have to follow it up with some real action, like practicing and reflecting.

It won't work without that part as well. Does that sound like something you'd want to try? Awesome.

Huh? The cost? No, this is on me.

It's your first time here, so think of it as a free sample. Well, I mean, yeah, people tell me their problems and ask for my thoughts all the time. And that's the whole point of this place.

It's just my job, no sweat. Make it up to me. Hmm.

You know what? I do tarot card readings for folks that come in and ask, but I've always found it hard to read for myself. You think you can do a reading for me? Of course you can.

Anybody can use tarot. You don't have to be a witch to do it. Here, look.

So basically what you do is pull one or as many cards as you want to answer a question. You look at the picture on the card and let it speak to you. What's going on in this little scene? What colors are there? How does it make you feel? And you interpret it in whatever way your gut tells you.

There's really no wrong way to do it. Does that sound doable? Excellent.

Okay, so I've already shuffled. So now you just need to draw a card. Oh, my question.

Let's see what the cards have to say about the rest of my day to day. Not too complicated. Oh, the three of cups.

There are three ladies dancing in a pretty clearing with cups in their hands, almost like they're toasting to something. They look like they're having a good time. So what does your gut say about this one? Friendship, huh? Yeah, I think I can confidently say I've made a new friend today.

And it's been really nice talking with you so far. Oh, you want to pull another card? Okay.

Yeah, sure. Ooh, the eight of pentacles. That's a nice one.

See, there's this guy at that workbench crafting on those coins. There's a lot around him that are all sparkly, and he seems to be at peace with himself. What's this one saying to you? Working hard at something I enjoy.

Yeah, that checks out. I love working here, and I'm always trying to think of new things to make and new ways to help people who come by. Hopefully that means I'll be doing this for a long time.
