Now, I do recall that you've wanted to braid my hair for quite a while, haven't you, Fair Maiden? Since that is the case, well, now you can. Go ahead, and I will tell you about the forest while you do so.

If I might be able to just give you an inclination as to what you might do with my hair, I do have battle tomorrow, and I would like to be able to see very clearly, to make sure that everything is nice and tight, will you not? Thank you. Now, I do understand that you had questions about the forest and how she works, how it has come to be.

I will try to explain it in the simplest way that I can, for it is very complicated, very complex, the history. You see, in the beginning of time there were gods, and the gods grew full of love, for they loved each other very much so. However, it came to be that one of the gods made mankind, and when mankind came to be, this god was too in love with humans, too much so that the other gods became envious, and because of this, hatred was born.

The hatred infested the humans, and the humans later turned towards the gods and hated them in return. Now all of this came about because of love. So you see, when things like hatred, like despair, like sorrow, rage, all of those things, anger, they only come about because of love.

Love is the basis for everything. It is the true power that lies within us and within you. Because of this, everything in the forest, everything in nature, it all has power.

Life breathes power because life is the only thing that can truly love. And love is where our power resides. So that which you call magic, well it isn't really magic, now is it? Now that you truly understand that it is indeed just love, I can see in the mirror that you're doing a very beautiful braid.

I love it. I will cherish and adore it until I must wash my hair again. Do you have any other specific questions about the forest? That is a very astute question.

You see, most people, they think that you can just take that power, but you can't. You can't at all, because life is the power. Like I said before, love comes from life.

So when you kill an animal, when you slaughter it, and you ingest it, you're not ingesting any power whatsoever. You are merely ingesting the body. And the body truly does not have anything in correlation to that power that you call magic.

Elves, we have grown with nature ever since we were small. And because of this, we know exactly what it's like to witness all of this power. To love it, to love ourselves, for we know that we come from something great.

But it seems to be that all the other races in the world have forgotten this. They have forgotten these old ways of life, the old laws and the gods. They have forgotten everything.

And it is quite sad. But then again, there are others like yourself that I meet. And they have an idea.

They feel it inside of themselves, inside of their hearts. They know that there is something more. That the power is truly within them, and nothing more.

And that is what everyone else has forgotten. It makes it all very, very sad. And it makes it something that makes it impossible to explain.

Unless you are open hearted in understanding the way it truly all works. For they just think that we are witches with dark abilities. And they do not realize that they are the exact same.

We are not different at all. The only thing that makes us any different is how we are raised. How we know the knowledge of the old, of the antique, of the ancient.

And you have all forgotten. That is the only difference. Well, that is the most beautiful braid I have ever laid my eyes on.
