Dabi decides to help you with your sadness by sharing some wisdom...
Now what I'm telling you is that it's okay. Listen, come here. Come over here.
I promise I won't bite. Now, from what you're saying, you're sad. And I'm here to tell you that sadness, well, it's completely fine.
It's normal. And you should actually appreciate all of these negative emotions that everyone likes to so quickly call negative. You see pain, suffering, sadness, they're all fine.
They're actually more than fine. They're necessary. They're necessary for your growth, for you to be able to appreciate happiness.
Now the reason why I can say about these things is because I've experienced them more than most people. I know what it's like to suffer, to truly suffer, to be sad, willowing in sorrow. And knowing that, feeling in your bones that things won't get better.
The thing is, they do. Because nothing lasts forever. Nothing.
You might think that something will, but they don't. And that is a truly great thing. So I understand the value of sadness, rage, depression.
I truly am grateful for it. If I didn't have these feelings, these strong, powerful feelings, then I wouldn't feel happiness nearly as intense as I do. You must see that not everything's as bad as people think.
And you must also see that not everything is a weakness just because people say it's a weakness. More often than not, people are the weak ones. And they don't understand the strength they have when you realize that a weakness is just fuel.
That weaknesses can be fuel. And that happiness, it comes around. But having these other things, well, they'll make that happiness, the joy of the small victories, much more worth it.
Do you understand what I'm saying to you? Hmm. Now, why would you say that? No? Well, there's nothing really in it for me right here.
I just see you suffering. And I do care about you. I know that I've been rough at times, but this is an area of my life that I actually know about.
Of life, not just mine, but because of mine. And I just want to share it with you. I want to make sure that you're okay.
Because if you are okay, if you are better, then so am I. And besides, I don't like being around people who are always sad and depressed. I have enough of that with myself to deal with.
So, do you feel any better? Yeah? Good.
Now, let's go. We have a lot of chaos to do today. And we're late.
So, come on.
