Now, as you prepare to relax very deeply, if you haven't already done so, you can just close your eyes. Close your eyes. Allow your body to rest.
Let your body rest in a position where you can become more comfortably still. And it is usually best to let your legs be uncrossed and your hands to rest apart without your fingers touching so that you are free to really drift, really drift, really drift, really drift into deeper and deeper comfort. Deeper and deeper, deeper and deeper, and become more and more absorbed in honestly making changes.
There are many things in life that you do consciously, like planning to go to an event or preparing to take a test, and then there are things you do completely unconsciously, like digesting your food and dreaming at night as you sleep, like translating the sound of these words into meanings you can understand. Because these things that you do unconsciously all happen automatically in your subconscious mind. The subconscious controls your habits and your actions without you even thinking about it or realizing it.
Because once upon a time, when you were a baby, you didn't know what words meant, you didn't know how to talk or how to walk, and bit by bit you had to learn many things. And if you ever watch a toddler trying to balance and walk across the room, a toddler has to put so much conscious effort into standing up and into balancing, into putting one foot in front of the other. And yet, as that toddler grows into an adult, walking becomes quite effortless.
You can trust yourself to walk instinctively. And without thought, you just put one foot in front of the other, automatically, and you walk. Trust yourself to walk instinctively.
Just as you once had to struggle to make sense of words as a baby, and now your brain instinctively, unconsciously, translates these words into meaning, and you can continue to trust these words, your unconscious mind. Trust your unconscious mind to make sense of, to absorb, and utilize, even if and when the unconscious part of your mind starts to drift as you relax deeper. You can know that is quite alright, because sometimes you will be more aware of these words as you relax deeper still.
And other times you might notice yourself drifting away into a dream-like state of utter comfort and relaxation. Where the muscles of your body relax more and more. Body relax.
Body relax more and more. With each and every breath, the facial muscles body smoothing out more. The jaw muscles body relaxing.
The shoulders sinking. A heavy warm comfort flowing through your arms and into your hands like giving your arms a reward. For all of the liftings and work they have done over the years.
Giving your body a resting vacation from having to do anything so that they can just rest. Just rest. Just rest.
In a wonderfully heavy stillness. And breathe a deep sigh of relief. Just as a dog or a cat understands the instinctive pleasure of stretching out by a fire, or in some warm spot, and comfortably dozing, letting all of the muscles feel comfortably heavier.
Feel comfortably heavier. Still. The legs, the thigh muscles, the calf muscles, heavier and heavier.
That's it. All the way down now. All the way down.
All the way down now. All the way down. A comfortable heaviness in the feet and toes, as if every cell in that body were to give a deep sigh of comfort, and with a gentle smile, relax all the way down.
Relax. Relax all the way down into a more dreamlike state of mind. Where you can begin to make changes.
Make changes on an instinctive level. And now, I would like to tell you a story about a professional archer, who was very talented when he was practicing. But he wasn't happy about how he was doing in the championships, because he kept thinking about the score, and the shots he had missed.
And this distracted him, so he was never fully present, and absorbed in the moment. And he wanted to know how to really forget about that pressure. Know how to really forget about that pressure.
To let go. Let go. And be more in the flow.
When shooting, be more in the flow. And you know why you are listening to this? You are listening.
And you know that there have been some times in the past when something got in the way of you getting an erection? And being able to relax and really enjoy sexually responding. Relax and really enjoy sexually responding.
When the more conscious part of that mind have worried and felt pressured and tried to make a response happen, that needs to happen unconsciously. Unconsciously. And spontaneously.
Spontaneously. Spontaneously. And just for a moment, I would like you to remember a time or a situation when that worry, that unhelpful mental pressure, was just about to begin.
And that might have been at the beginning of having sex with your partner. As you were going to bed together. Or it might have been sometime earlier on in the evening or the day when those old worry thoughts or that background sense of pressure was just about to begin.
And you can just remember that for a moment. Noticing where you were. What time of day it was.
What sounds were around you. Going back to that time. And then I'd like to see you drift right out of yourself and into that situation.
Drift. Drift right out of yourself in that situation. Drift.
Drift right out of yourself in that situation. To see the you over there. The expression on his face.
Perhaps slight apprehension or frustration. Or a look of tension. And you can begin to drift further.
Drift further. And further away from that situation. To really get some perspective.
Get some perspective on how it is that things are going to change now. Things are going to change now. And remember the archer and the archer learned a way to hypnotically remember all of his past successes.
The times he had been utterly focused. And each shot had happened perfectly. Like his body was releasing that arrow at just the right moment.
And he just needed to allow it to happen. Allow it to happen. Allow it to happen.
And the archer was to remember all of his future successes. Times of feeling the stretch of the bow. Waiting and timing it so it feels just right.
And then letting loose that perfect shot over and over in the future. Letting loose that perfect shot over and over in the future. And really relaxing in those moments.
In the wonderfully pleasant experience of allowing your body to respond instinctively. Allowing your body to respond instinctively. But most important of all he noticed how in each of those successful moments he is able to just naturally forget himself.
Naturally forget himself. And let all memories and conscious thoughts recede into the background. So he can become incredibly present.
Become incredibly present. And alive to every sensation. Alive to every sensation.
Every nuance of the experience. Every nuance of the experience. Every nuance of the experience.
And you know what it is you want for yourself. To be able to really trust yourself. Really trust yourself.
To respond sexually. Respond sexually. And to allow your desires and passion fire up your sex drive.
Allow your desires and passion fire up your sex drive. And let the physical swelling and hardness and excitement and yearning flow right into those times with your partner when it feels just so right. That is part of your birthright as a human being.
It is a natural instinctive template inside you that your unconscious mind knows is important. And that blueprint of sexual responsiveness has been there in so many ways since your sexual development in puberty. Through all the positive sexual experiences you have had and will have all through the past and future and just as successful and just as success can make you swell with pride.
So those successes can remind you of the feeling of the blood flowing spontaneously blood flowing spontaneously through into your penis through into your penis. Like an initial surge of desire as you get a real sense here and now of a future sexual encounter and that growing erection. As the smells, the sounds, the heat between you and your partner remind you to forget to remember about anything other than to be fully present be fully present and enjoy that as a wonderfully agreeable growing sensation of passion, heat, and yearning to come, come, come, come right into this experience with such.
