Whew. There we go. First fire of the season.

I love it. I have to tell you, I just love having a fireplace. I never had one growing up, but it's so nice to have one now, you know? I just want to say, I'm so glad you decided to come over.

I know I invited you last minute, but it's been a couple weeks since I saw you, you know? In person. I've missed you.

Yeah, one of these days we'll get a cabin for a weekend and really get away. We'll enjoy the fire pit and the fireplace. Hot chocolate all weekend, hmm? So, you want to tell me what's been bothering you? No, I know something is.

You always talk about how well I know you, and then when I prove it, you try to pretend I don't. It's okay. You're never a burden, I promise.
