Your British BF finds you in the house and asks if you want to accompany him to the kitchen for a conversation and tea...
Hey there babe. Now what are you doing? Really? I see.
Now, I'm just, I wanted to be with you but I don't know if you were going to be busy or not. Well I won't lie to you, I'm pretty tired but I wouldn't, I wouldn't mind just getting a cup of tea from the kitchen. Would you like that as well? I would be absolutely honoured to make you a cup as well.
I'm sure you know that. Alright, why don't you bring your beautiful presence with me and just listen to me because I actually have a few questions that I think you will love to converse about. It's nothing in particular, it's just things that I'd like to honestly get your insight about.
We've talked about them before but I think it's time we re-evaluated them for our future. Yeah, so come on, let's go to the kitchen. While I make these, I'll ask you the first question.
Which tea did you want actually, before I get into that? Perfect, of course. And would you like any milk or sugar in it? Alright.
Well, the very first question I had for you was, realistically, if you really consider what we like, what house, where would you like to live specifically? Well, I only ask because we've already been married for a year and we've had plans before but things have changed with our jobs and everything around our lives, our hobbies, everything has kind of changed. Since before we spoke about where we'd go and what we'd do, now it seems to be like life is just happening even more frequently.
It's changing. I just want to make sure that we have a plan. You know how I can be.
You know how I like to run through life. I like to make a plan before the run. So, I know you love that about me and I wanted to present this to you so there's a few questions that we've always talked about for our future and I just want to re-evaluate them, that's all.
So, what do you think? Of course, yeah. Well, absolutely.
Right, yes. Oh, sorry. I just need to crack my knuckles.
It's actually been bugging me all day. But apologies, just continue. No, I absolutely agree with everything that you're saying, with everything my beautiful darling wife is saying.
But I do want to question one thing. Would you prefer it if it was a one storey house or a two storey? You see, I think that there's very good cons and pros to either.
Specifically, we like to be together most of the time, which I love, obviously. And I truly believe that when you have a second storey, right, you do have another level of privacy. Whether it be that you have guests or you have anybody over, you can just go right upstairs if you want a moment, take a moment.
If you get drained socially, whatever it may be, you have that option. Whereas when you're in just one storey house, you really don't. But, the same goes if you need to get things from upstairs, it can become a little daunting, a little bit uncomfortable.
Or might I say, unpractical. By the way, I think it's a very important question. And if it is a home that we're gonna have forever, if we have stairs, we get into our old age, it will become very taxing on our knees.
That'll be for sure. It's very good to have that as a really clear idea of what it might be like. We're not thinking about it now, but you listen to me when I try to get off the bed, I already sound like I'm 65.
I know, sweetheart. Oh, I got caught up here. Your tea is prepared.
Absolutely perfect for you. Right there, just how you like it. Please let me know and leave a review as to how your experience was with Husband Tea, a newly formed company, opening near you.
Oh, of course, sweetheart. I hope you enjoy it. Well, there was another question about where we want to live, but I know that you were very adamant about two specific places.
I don't see that needing to change whatsoever, or even having to be conversed at all. But I would say that in terms of the houses, that's the only thing that I really don't know. I just really want to make sure that we pick the right one.
I know it's a lot, but it just needs to be discussed, I feel like, more in length. The truly great thing is that we're not in any rush right now to do that. But it's obviously important to keep it in our sights so that we can properly do it.
I knew you'd agree to that, sweetheart. Have I told you that you look exceedingly hot drinking tea? Never told you that, have I? Well, I guess you might have to lock me up for that, because that is a criminal offence a criminal offence for me not to tell you how absolutely hot, sexy and beautiful you look drinking tea.
I know you're just in an oversized t-shirt, but it's the best way you look. It's my favourite look of yours. Either way, I can't think of anything else that I wanted to discuss about our future.
There's other things, but they're very, they're not important in comparison to buying a house, right? It's not. Either way, it really doesn't matter as long as you're with me, as long as we're together.
That's all I truly care about. As I'm sure you do as well, I know that. Mmm, I must say, the tea on your lips tastes even better than out of a cup.
Way better. All right, I have to stop being mesmerized by you and actually make myself a cup. So, if you just want to stay here with me, or if you want to go and find something on the telly to watch, it's up to you.
But thank you for talking with me, sweetheart. I love you. I know.
