Now I know about that, but all I have to say about it is that I understand, and you and I have been friends for a very, very long time. I think that we are more than friends, we're family, and I do feel that I must express a few things to you that will not be to your liking. But I do hope that you will at least hear me out, alright? Alright.

Look, I know things have been hard, I know that you've been struggling with the stresses of life and many things that you've had to deal with, but you can be better. I know this, I know this because I've known you for so long and because I love you. You're my friend, you're family, you deserve more from yourself, and I'm always here to lend a hand for more.

Whatever you need. But, at the end of it all, at the end of the day, you must help yourself. I can't do it for you.

That is quite the problem, isn't it? If I could do everything for you, I would. However, as we just discussed, I can't.

And it kills me, it pains me to not be able to do everything for you. You deserve better from yourself. And I know, I already said this, that it's been hard, it's been very difficult for you, and I feel like I'm being such a prick.

I'm sorry, I apologize, but I love you. You deserve better than this, better than you're treating yourself. You are by far one of the best people I know, and you treat everyone better than you do yourself.

How are you supposed to thrive when you put all of your energy into helping others and you leave yourself out in the wind, out in the cold? You have to put the same amount of help that you do into others back into yourself, back into you. Because, unfortunately, the world will not be as kind as you are to others.

Other people won't be as kind to you as you are to them. All you have is a good heart. And I'm not just saying that's all you have to offer, but it's the most powerful thing that I've ever seen anyone give.

Everyone's selfish here, except you. You're the only one that is not. And you deserve so much better.

So please, look at me. Look at me. I want you, as cruel as this sounds, to stop looking after other people and start loving yourself, giving yourself the nurturing and energy and everything that you give everyone else.

Give it to yourself first. And once you've done that for a while, then you can go back to helping and nurturing other people. But please, I'm begging you, do it for yourself first.

All right? All right. Just try.

That's all I ask. I love you and I will always be here for you. Never, ever feel like you're alone.
