I get that okay I get that but here's my point of view and what I'm saying okay and you can just listen to this okay everybody just listen to this all I'm saying is all right you don't owe your family anything especially your parents you do not owe your parents anything but they owe everything to you now let me say that one more time okay you don't owe anybody in your family anything but your parents owe you okay even if your parents didn't choose to have you it is your their responsibility okay the fact that they provide a home for you the fact that they provide food for you the fact that they provide an education or whatever it is does not mean that you owe them anything that's the bare minimum okay and it's horrible because a lot of this has been lost like a lot like the logic of having children has been completely lost I do think you should respect your parents to an extent but they should respect you just as much you know it's all it shows how parents treat their children but if you're supposed to be grateful for absolutely everything they do I don't think that's right I don't know if they go above and beyond to give you you know love to try to give you the best of everything to like if they really try their hardest because they love you that's a different conversation but having to be completely oh my god thank you for just giving me a meal that's wrong that's their whole fucking job I know I know I know but like that's my opinion all right all right let me say it this way to let me say it this way you don't know let's extend it okay talking about grandparents talking about your uncles aunts your cousins whoever they are family just because they're your family doesn't mean they get to get away with whatever they want it doesn't mean that they get to get away with how they treat you what they say about you it does not fucking matter it doesn't matter respect is respect and there is no cheat code in order for somebody to deserve your respect no matter what all right I'll take it even further than all of this okay I back this up by saying that the president should respect you no human on the fucking planet is better or worse than you in terms of all just humanity what I mean by that is is in the treatment okay you should treat a homeless person the same that you would treat a CEO or a business owner or someone with a lot of money or a degree everybody deserves the same level of treatment kindness obviously you gauge that depending on how they return how they treat you that's what I'm saying because it's very simple to just say oh respect isn't given it's earned yeah true but you should be kind to people you know like at the beginning you should just be kind open whatever accepting but then after that first after that first or cut or a few couple of interactions if they don't treat you right you don't have to treat them right you know fuck being the higher person that's my opinion that's what I'm saying like don't you agree with any of that does anybody here agree with any of that do you huh well yeah but I'm saying it in terms of like obviously I'm I'm making it very specific at the beginning because of family right because there's this very traditional sense that you owe everything to your parents and that they they're your parents so no matter what no fuck that no your parents have to treat you right okay they get pissed off or there's a lot of trauma generational trauma that's never gonna end however I would prefer to give my respect to a parent that actually tries because that's where it really is where you can tell if they're good and if they will love you if they listen to you they treat you like a human being not just their kid that's what I mean and it's very difficult to come out with this concept and people don't realize that right at least I think so yeah yeah well that's that's that's what I mean you know that's what I mean either way either way it's just an opinion I just want to talk to this because I've been thinking about it for the past few weeks and I wanted to bring it up to see what you guys thought but yeah anyways I think I'm gonna head to bed this has been a very long night it's already what 3 in the morning yeah fuck I gotta go I got work in the morning shit nothing I love you guys all right I'll catch you guys later let me know if we're going next week to the thing yeah let me know all right.
