Your bestfriend spills some new tea about your friend group...
No, no, no. Let me tell you what happened. Okay? Just, just let me explain.
This is what really happened. Or not just what happened, but what's really going on because I have, I have everything. Like they told me everything.
So check it. Okay. Here's the deal.
All right. Matt, he, he loves her. Okay.
He loves her and they've been together for about a year now, which is a really long time. All right. That's a long time.
Um, but here's the problem. Okay. He's told me on several occasions that even though, you know, him and Marie, they're very, very, very good and compatible together.
We love them. We love them together. Everybody in the group agrees.
They are wonderful. They're great. All that stuff.
Right? Marie kind of has a little bit of trust issues and I don't, I don't think she's wrong in thinking that. Cause I mean, Matt is, he's a fuck boy.
All right. He used to be even like before he met her and we really think that where we thought we saw him change. All right there.
I'm just going to say that I think we can all agree. We saw him change because he was fucking basically a girl every single weekend, which was very unhealthy, exceedingly unhealthy. Then he met Marie, fell completely in love with her.
Everything about her, they were compatible. They just, you know, everything took off perfectly. They got together, everything, whatever.
Marie, we met her because she wasn't in the group. She became a part of the group when she got with Matt. So we don't really know what she's like actually, actually like, I feel like a lot of the girls in the group and some of us guys have gotten to know her, but we don't really know what she's really like, if that makes sense.
Um, but he's told me that she's just very fucking insecure, like insanely insecure. And because of this, like he's caught her multiple times checking his Instagram account, checking all this shit, you know, you know, you know how it is. Okay.
Doing the regular shit, asking people, she's, you know, a little toxic behavior right there. But Hey, again, like I said, you can't really blame her, right? You can't blame Marie because Matt was a fuck boy.
And that just doesn't change overnight, even though it really did seem to happen for him. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Yes.
Yes. That's why I say why it seemed to happen. Now here's the deal.
Matt, last week we went to a bar, we were chilling. We weren't even drinking that much I think. Um, and what happened? There was a really hot girl and the hot girl bought Matt a drink.
Matt took the drink. He didn't tell her anything. He just like, took it.
It was from across the bar. So like, he didn't talk to her right away, but he took the drink. He just like waved and said, thank you or whatever.
And then he just drank it. I really feel like at this point in the story, we already know what's going to happen, but it's not everything how you think it's not exactly what you think is going to happen. Okay.
He takes the drink. He has it. The girl comes over.
She talks to him. He tells her I was there. I was right in front of Matt when she came over, which by the way, the worst part of this is that she was definitely Matt's type because Marie is not, that's the thing.
Marie is not Matt's type. I don't know what, like, I don't see how Marie really caught Matt. Like, to be honest with you, because it's just uncanny.
Like she's not his type. This girl was Matt's type. The ones that we would see every single, like, you know, all the girls we would see him with, it was a copy of all those other girls.
So I was like, Holy shit. It's like putting cocaine in front of an addict that's been gone sober and all that shit. She was a little tipsy too.
So then she tells Matt that, you know, friends and pa, whatever, you know, usual Matt shit, getting fucking all the girls. And then he tells the girl, like I was saying, he tells her, tells her, I have a girlfriend. Thank you.
But no, I have a girlfriend, blah, blah, and like all that stuff. So I was like, Holy shit, you're actually maturing. Fuck.
Bare minimum, dude. Good for you. Um, the girl's like, okay, thanks, whatever.
Like she actually took it pretty well, which I'm really surprised with. She was a little bit of a bitch at the beginning. Cause she was like, Oh, well, I don't see her here or whatever the fuck, which is not cool.
Um, but then, yeah, she just left. Now here's the deal. When we were leaving the bar, I thought that was the end of it.
I was like, damn, I'm fucking proud of Matt. When I was leaving the bar, I had walked in front. So he had stayed up at the table pain after he paid.
I'm near the door and I look back. The girl is at the table and they exchange, like he's on his phone and he just walked out. Like he, they just exchanged something.
They don't kiss, talk, they're just talking. He walks out. I asked him, Hey, what's going on with that? And he was like, Oh, no, no, he's, she's just, she's really wanting to tell me that, uh, that, uh, she really thought it was hot and that whatever, like, but whatever, dude, I didn't pay attention to her.
I just said, thanks. However, I realized now that he had his phone out. And if that was really the case, you wouldn't have your phone out.
Now here's where things get a little dicey. There was one missed call on Matt's phone two days ago. Marie wrote to me about it and she was like, Hey, whose number is this? Blah, blah, blah.
Um, I asked Matt about it. He said that he, cause you can, you know, you can tell when people pick up and like how long the phone call was. And he literally did pick up and talk to whoever was on the end of that phone.
But it was, they talked for like four minutes and he told her that it was just, uh, a fucking solicitor, like someone talking about some random shit they were selling. And we know Matt, Matt doesn't buy anything. Dude literally has one pair of fucking sneakers, dude.
Like if you were to buy anything, it'd be from fucking Amazon cause that's all he uses. He doesn't even go to stores anymore, honestly. So I was like, that's bullshit.
You would not be talking to someone for four minutes just to say no. That's the problem. He said, he literally told her, Oh yeah, they called blah, blah, blah.
Um, I said no, that's it. But then there's like all that time there. Now she is really trying to be careful because she's already done this multiple times.
So that's what she started like talking to everybody in the group and she was trying to see like, Hey, has anything happened? Did you see anything? Has anything gone like happened or not? And I really didn't think about it, but then it connected to me about that girl.
Cause I was like, fuck that girl is literally Matt's. Like it's literally Matt's type. Okay.
He said no. I was like, wow, I just dismissed, dismissed it, you know, completely. And then, but then I saw her go back for a second.
He had his phone out. I'm like shit. So now that's like everything that's going on and I still haven't talked to Matt about it.
So I'm planning, I'm thinking we should talk to him like today when he gets here, Marie's not going to be here tonight because, um, she had some work shit she has to stay late for, but we have to fucking talk to him. We have to see what the fuck's going on because I honestly feel like Marie, she has like, we have to talk to her too. Like she can't be snooping around, but at the same time, if fucking Matt did something, if he cheated, it's done, like it's over.
You don't get over that. And he can say he's going to change whatever, but hopefully he didn't. I'm thinking that he had a lapse in judgment because he's told me that he really likes Marie a lot.
He loves, he's close to him. You know, he just really loves her. So I think he just had a lapse in judgment.
People really try to change and I think he might've tried to do something, but then, you know, fuck, it was just like, damn, he saw it for a minute. He added just a couple of drinks and yeah. So I still think that's super weak behavior.
It's not acceptable, obviously, but if we can do anything to help him to change, because Matt had a problem. Okay. We're talking about major fuck boy.
He, he just was not doing good. And ever since he left Rebecca, that was bad. He was with Rebecca for six years.
All right. Six years. They were about to get married.
Like all that shit happened. Then he went on this fuck boy spree after he was, well, they, they broke up and now he finally found like a girl that he really likes and that she likes him. So there's just a lot of people doing some stupid ass shit.
This needs to be rectified. We can try to help, but at the end of the day, they have to decide, they have to do it for themselves and they have to see what they're going to do in order to really stay in this relationship, you know, maintain it, or if it's just not going to work and that's it. So what do you think? Should we talk to him tonight?
