This is a safe for work, non erotic, sleep meditation. Things like this can really help me relax, so I hope it helps you too ❤️
Hello there. It's time to rest. And I know that can be hard for someone who works as hard as you, who goes through their day with their mind constantly racing, always busy, and has something to do.
But now, it's time for you to put all of that to bed. No more thinking, which I know is super hard. Our minds like to race and spin over the past and the future.
But for right now, I just want you to take a deep breath, and stop. There is nothing more that you need to think about tonight. You do not need to worry, or stress, or plan.
All of that can be done tomorrow. For now, I just want you to rest, and let your mind focus on the actual physical sensations in your body. I'm sure that by now you've completed all your nighttime routines and tasks, and are ready to commit yourself to sleep.
My nighttime routine consists of a final snack, journaling, and stretching. And the snack is up to you. But I would like to invite you to stretch your body with me right now, in your bed, only doing what's incredibly comfortable and feels nice.
But I've found that it makes for a much easier and less painful morning if you work on your muscles a little bit before you spend the night in one single position. So I'm just going to talk for a little while, and you can stretch your body. I like to do butterflies and splits.
Leaning forward, stretching my hips out, and my back, and my shoulders. Helping to relieve the tension in my body. This can take me a couple minutes.
I feel like my hands glide across my skin. And while you do that, and while you touch yourself in this objective way, not erotic. Maybe not objective, but not erotic.
I want you to be loving and caring with yourself. Your body is beautiful and perfect, and has done so much for you today. So as you're stretching and digging your fingertips into your sore muscles, I want you to remember that.
And even if you're ill, or disabled, or not feeling your best, all of that is still true. You've made it through another day, with your body supporting you. And your body might not be appreciated by outside sources, so I want you to support and appreciate your body.
Tonight, stretching and listening to me, following along as I walk you through my own nighttime routine, is an act of self-care, of self-love, and I want you to truly appreciate that. This is soft and loving, and that's everything that you deserve. I like to journal, but I understand if that's not a practice that you are engaging in right now, or even one that you've engaged in forever.
But that's alright. We can still reap some of the benefits that I like to focus on in my nighttime routine. It started as a bit of a joke, but I write myself a love letter every night.
Sometimes they're very short, but other times, when I really need it, I can spend quite a few minutes telling myself how proud I am of what I accomplished that day. And I know that this in particular can be a very difficult task for people. It's something you have to learn through practice.
So, assuming that you're maybe not in practice, or that you could just benefit from some additional assistance, I can lead you through some affirmations that I like to tell myself. And, at the surface, these may come off as a bit trite, but I want you to not think of them that way. These are true, and I know that there will be a spark of gratitude and acceptance and joy within you upon hearing them, and I want you to lean into that.
Okay? You are loved. You did the best that you could today, and that is more than enough.
You achieved so much. And they may be a bunch of little things, but all those little things still count. You woke up today.
That in itself is a beautiful, wonderful thing. You fed yourself. I hope something nutritious and delicious, at least at some point during the day, nourishing your body as it supports you throughout your life.
I hope today that you hope today that you did something for you that you enjoy, and that could be something like having your coffee just the way you like it, or really taking the time to listen to this audio and believe everything that I'm saying. Or maybe you did something really fantastic, like watch your favorite show, or maybe you wrote a story that you're really proud of. So a little thing, or a larger thing, or a larger thing, I want you to not be ashamed that you took time for yourself, because it's so important.
So important. And I know that tonight might be one of the harder nights, or maybe it's one of the better nights, but you are taking time by listening to this audio to focus on yourself, and really set yourself up for sleep. And I think that deserves praise and appreciation as well.
So good job on that. By now, I'm quite certain that you are laying down in your bed. I don't know what kind of bed you sleep in, but to make this a little bit more personal, my bed is incredibly soft and cozy.
I have a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very deep memory foam pad on the top of my mattress that just sinks when I lay down on it, and almost feels like a hug is enveloping my entire body. And over the top of that, I put my weighted blanket, so I'm fully cocooned in this warm, warm, safe, luxurious cocoon. And it just brings a soft smile to my face, that being able to be that comfortable, and knowing that it is a time for rest, and that I am so lucky to be able to rest somewhere so wonderful.
So I hope wherever you're sleeping tonight is equally as lovely for you. Equally as lovely for you. But as you lay there, I want you to focus on relaxing your muscles.
Sometimes, even when we are laying down, there's so much tension, and anxiety, and apprehension within our bodies, like we're gearing up for a fight. And I want you to know that you don't have to do that right now. You can rest.
You can relax. You can drop your shoulders. Everything is just fine.
I don't know if you prefer to sleep alone, or with somebody. Now, I typically sleep alone. I'm not very touchy-feely, but every night, to get myself in the mindset of resting, I imagine that I am not alone.
There's someone with me, pressed up against me, breathing calmly like I am, and the warm curve of their body pressed up against mine. That just feels very nice, and very safe. And sometimes, most of the time, I can take that in a bit more of a sensual direction, because I like the feel of their body pressed up against me.
I like to swivel my hips, and imagine I'm pressing back against them. I like to think a little bit about their fingertips trailing down my skin, or their arms wrapping around me. I try not to get too deep into this fantasy, though, because it's hot, and sexy, and erotic.
I try not to get too deep into this fantasy, though, because it's hot, and sexy, and erotic. I try not to get too deep into this fantasy, though, because it's hot, and sexy, and erotic. As it is to think about someone right behind me, gently and sweetly stroking all of my favorite spots.
It is a time for rest. It is a time for sleep. And so, as good as that feels, I'll let that sensation fade away, or never fully develop in the first place.
Things can be erotic and sensual without becoming orgasmic and sexual. And that's what I want you to think about now. Another deep breath.
Slow, rhythmic breathing. Resting, soft, loved, safe, peace, sleep.
