You have summoned me here, from my faraway home. And I must say, I'm amused by your boldness. You clearly thought you had the power to bind me in this circle, and your spellwork isn't half bad.

Oh, oh no, darling. You did very well. But you chose your prey poorly.

Did you think I would be a starving, slavering tramp, bound in chains, but so desperate I didn't need them? Bent up fires of lust, making me more feral than you? Or, perhaps, you were just hoping for a haughty, powerful creature you could subdue? Oh, it's written all over your lust and your intent for the spell.

You feel so powerless in your life, you so frightfully crave control over another. But, allow me to teach you this important lesson. Control over others won't give you the control you seek.

Instead, it creates a vicious cycle. You need to master your own life as best you can, which is rather hard for humans. You go about your short lives always fighting for your own freedoms and free will, while the world bears down heavily upon you all.

It's a worthy struggle, I will admit. Had you summoned me here humbly, beseeching me for my gifts, my pleasure, for everything I had to give, I would have gladly given it. I am, after all, a most generous goddess.

A true supplicant could gain many favorable things from me, but only if they were truly humble in their admiration and their worship.
